One to one/twos

There is something special about practising in a group. The shared energy, the encouragement, the sense of community but sometimes what you really need is something that is entirely your own.

I'm so excited to now offer one-to-one sessions at Grōwan for women, as well as small private sessions for up to four women practicing together.

Whether you're completely new to movement, returning after a break, working with an injury, wanting to build confidence before joining a class, or simply looking for something more personalised, these sessions are designed around you.

Tailored to your body, your goals, your pace

The beauty of one-to-one teaching is that there is no need to fit yourself into a pre-planned class. Instead, we can create a practice that works for you.

You might be looking to:

  • build strength and stability

  • improve flexibility and mobility

  • ease stress and tension

  • support recovery from injury

  • learn the foundations of yoga or Pilates

  • deepen an existing practice

  • create space to slow down and reconnect with yourself

We can focus on yoga, Pilates, or blend the two together depending on what feels right for you.

Some people love the grounding, mindful nature of Hatha yoga alongside the deep relaxation of restorative practice. Others want the strength-building challenge of Pilates. Many find that a combination of both offers the best of everything.

Together, we'll create something that supports where you are right now.

My approach

If you've practised with me before, you'll know that my teaching is rooted in care, curiosity, and meeting people where they are.

My yoga teaching combines Hatha and Restorative practices. Hatha gives us space to build strength, mobility, balance, and awareness through steady movement and held postures. Restorative yoga offers something quite different: a chance to fully rest, supported by props, allowing the body and mind to experience deep relaxation.

I also teach through a trauma-informed lens. For me, this isn't simply about supporting people who have experienced trauma. It creates a more welcoming experience for everyone, particularly beginners.

You'll never be expected to force your body into a shape that doesn't feel right. Instead, we'll explore variations, modifications, and options that work for your body. Every body is different, and movement should reflect that.

I believe movement can be challenging without being intimidating, and supportive without being limiting.

In Pilates, you can expect a little more fire. We build strength, stability, and muscular endurance, but with the same emphasis on listening to your body and choosing the level of challenge that feels appropriate for you on any given day.

Practicing at Grōwan

The two acre space at Grōwan is surrounded by fields

Our sessions take place in the barn, surrounded by the Herefordshire countryside.

The seasons naturally find their way into my teaching. You might hear birdsong during your practice, watch the weather move across the fields, or spot a rabbit hopping past the windows.

It's a peaceful space to step away from the busyness of everyday life and focus on yourself for a while.

Come alone or book with friends

While these sessions are available as one-to-one appointments, you can also book with up to three friends if you'd prefer to practise together.

This can work beautifully for friends, sisters, mothers and daughters, or anyone who enjoys moving alongside familiar faces.

For small group sessions, I recommend everyone is at a similar experience level so the practice can still be tailored to suit the group.

A Space For Women

These sessions are for women only and I have limited spaces so do get in touch if you’d like to find out the days/times.

Supporting women to feel strong, capable, confident, and at home in their bodies is something that sits at the heart of my teaching. Whether you're stepping onto a mat for the first time or have been practising for years, you'll be welcomed exactly as you are.

I have pdfs with all the price information and booking details just email me to find out more.
